Michelle Nicholson serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Polaris, where responsibilities include leading the organization’s people, culture, and operations to enhance impact in the fight against trafficking. Previously, Michelle held the position of Chief People Officer at Polaris, focusing on human capital functions, DEI initiatives, and talent strategy. In addition to extensive experience in human resources leadership roles across various organizations, including President of AllProfit HR and Chair of the Board of Directors at Tri-County Council For Southern Maryland, Michelle’s background encompasses strategic HR management in healthcare, education, and non-profit sectors. Academic credentials include two Master's degrees in Human Resources Management and Development, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
