Yuhe Zhang

Head of A.I. Engineering at Polarr

Yuhe Zhang is the head of A.I. Engineering at Polarr. Prior to that, they worked as a research assistant at Penn State University from June 2012 to June 2017. While at Penn State, they worked in Dr. Jainendra Jain's group in the Physics Department, researching the fractional quantum Hall effect. Yuhe published five first-author research articles in high-impact journals, including two in Physical Review Letter.

By developing and applying various computational techniques, such as the Metropolis-Hastings Monte Carlo algorithm, fixed-phase diffusion Monte Carlo algorithm, and Exact Diagonalization with parallel computation, Yuhe solved many long-existing scientific puzzles in this field, such as the particle-hole symmetry breaking in the context of spin polarization, and also proposed novel experiments to detect exotic elementary particles (anyons with nontrivial braiding statistics).

Yuhe Zhang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Physics from Penn State University. Yuhe also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Zhejiang University. In addition, Yuhe Zhang has a certification from Stanford University on Coursera in Machine Learning.

Their manager is Derek Yan, CTO, Co-Founder & Director.
