John Demille

John Demille is the Infrastructure Manager at Polen Capital. John has over fifteen years of experience in the IT field and has been with Polen Capital since DDJ Capital Management was acquired by them in January of 2022. Prior to that, they were with Convexity Capital Management, LP for eight years as their Systems Administrator/Engineer. There, they were responsible for designing and supporting systems and users with leading technologies such as VMWare, Microsoft, EVGA, HP, and others for a premier Boston hedge fund. Some of their major accomplishments include designing, implementing from the ground up, and managing a VMware View 4.6/5.0 remote access and VDI environment (replacing Citrix CAGs and a Citrix farm they had previously built), being the team lead for the planning and conversion of the entire desktop environment to Windows 7 Professional, and planned and facilitated the implementation of an Aruba Wireless network with multiple access points and 3 SSIDs company-wide.

John Demille has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Business from Northeastern University. John also has various technical training in Information Technology from VMWare and New Horizons. Additionally, they have a Microsoft Window Server Certificate from Boston University in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Finally, they have certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
