Thomas Pugh

Thomas Pugh is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical infrastructure systems and electrical distribution systems. Currently serving as Principal Engineer for Electrical Infrastructure Systems at Polestar since February 2022, Thomas leads a multidisciplinary team in delivering the Electrical Infrastructure Systems commodities for the Polestar 5 vehicle program. Prior to this role, Thomas was the Lead Engineer for Electrical Distribution Systems at Jaguar Land Rover from October 2017 to February 2022, where responsibilities included technical leadership, managing the Jaguar I-PACE WAYMO Autonomous Vehicle Project, and overseeing Tier 1 supplier relationships. Thomas began his career as a Systems Engineer at Yazaki Europe, focusing on circuit and systems design for various vehicle platforms. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Automotive Engineering from Coventry University.
