Joao Paulo Venezian de Carvalho

Joao Paulo Venezian de Carvalho, MBA, currently serves as the Director and Global Health Access Leader at Roche, where responsibilities include leading cross-divisional teams to enhance access and commercialization strategies for Low Middle Income Countries (LMIC). With a robust background in market access and business development, Joao Paulo has held various leadership roles at Roche, including Global Access Engagement Leader and LATAM Disease Area Strategy Lead. In addition to ongoing contributions at Roche, Joao Paulo is an active member and angel investor at Raspberry, focusing on AI and climate change startups, and serves as an angel investor and mentor at Poli Angels, supporting early-stage Brazilian tech startups. Previous professional experience includes leadership positions at Movimiento Salud 2030, Ipsos, HSBC, Itaú Unibanco, and Editora Globo. Joao Paulo holds an MBA from FIA Business School and has completed an International Program at Columbia University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
