Stephanie Gioia-Beckman

Stephanie Gioia-Beckman currently serves as the Senior Director of Workforce and Community Impact at the Policy & Innovation Center, overseeing the ELEVATE Behavioral Health Workforce Fund, a significant initiative focused on enhancing the behavioral health workforce in San Diego. Previous positions include Director of Community Impact & Advocacy and Director of Government Affairs at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Stephanie also held various roles at the County of San Diego, where responsibilities included reviewing and recommending policies in health, housing, workforce development, and juvenile justice while authoring over thirty county policy proposals. Earlier experience includes serving as a Community Representative in the California State Senate, where Stephanie contributed to the legislative process and community representation. Stephanie began her career as a Residential Counselor at Devereux and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
