Angela Glover Blackwell

Angela Glover Blackwell is a distinguished leader in the fields of public policy and social equity, currently serving as Chief Vision Officer for the Democracy Policy Initiative and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. With a rich history of advocacy, Glover Blackwell founded PolicyLink and served as its CEO for two decades, later transitioning to the role of Founder in Residence. Their expertise includes teaching courses on Race, Ethnicity & Class in American Cities at UC Berkeley and previously at NYU's Wagner Graduate School. Glover Blackwell's extensive experience includes senior leadership at The Rockefeller Foundation, founding the Urban Strategies Council, and practicing public interest law at Public Advocates. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
