Camila Olivares Gárate

Camila Olivares Gárate has two years of work experience. In 2020, they joined Poliglota (YC W21) as a Learning Optimization Specialist and an English Coach. In their role as Learning Optimization Specialist, they were responsible for executing experiments and investigations related to Learning Optimization, validating criteria, systems of evaluation, and measuring student progress. As an English Coach, they were responsible for delivering general English and business English classes, creating, adapting, and implementing pedagogical material through a game-based methodology in both private and group classes. In 2019, they joined Preply as an English teacher.

Camila Olivares Gárate attended Universidad de Chile from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Licenciatura in Lengua y literatura inglesa. From 2018 to 2019, they attended Universidad de Chile again and earned a Profesora de Educación media en inglés in the field of Education.
