Dmytro Appolonov

Dmytro Appolonov currently serves as the WASH/SHELTER/NFI Coordinator at Polish Humanitarian Action, a position held since April 2023. With extensive experience in engineering and project management, Dmytro has worked as a Pre-commissioning Engineer at Holtec International since March 2018, focusing on the commissioning of the Chernobyl NPP spent nuclear fuel Interim Storage Facility-2. Prior roles include a Construction Engineer at Vinci construction/Bouygues construction/Novarka from December 2008 to February 2018 and a Licensing Group Advisor at Shelter Implementation Plan Project Management Unit from 2006 to 2008. Dmytro began the professional career as a Logistics Officer at AREVA NP / FRAMATOME AEP in France from 2002 to 2006. Dmytro holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Civil Engineering from Sumy National Agrarian University, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Chernihiv State Institute of Economics and Management, and a Master's in Interpretation from the State Institute of Foreign Languages.
