Pierluigi Coppola

Pierluigi Coppola serves as a full professor at Politecnico di Milano since November 2019, and previously held the position of associate professor. In addition, Pierluigi Coppola is an expert consultant for the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti, a role commenced in January 2023. Since 2008, Pierluigi Coppola has been a guest professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prior to current roles, Pierluigi Coppola was an associate professor and university researcher at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" from January 2004 to November 2019, and served as a high-level consultant for the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti from January 2016 to July 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Infrastructures and Transport Systems from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (1998-2001) and a degree in Civil Engineering from the same university (1991-1996).
