Stefano Bonetti

Stefano Bonetti is a Research Fellow and PhD student at Politecnico di Milano since November 2020, specializing in mathematical and numerical modeling of multi-physics wave propagation phenomena with applications to geophysics and seismology, under the supervision of Paola F. Antonietti. In addition to research, Stefano serves as a teaching assistant for various engineering courses, supporting both MSc and BSc programs in Mathematical and Numerical Methods and Calcolo Numerico, utilizing software such as MATLAB and FreeFem++. A visiting PhD student at Inria in May 2023, Stefano collaborated with the Serena research team on numerical algorithms. Stefano holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, along with experience studying at Heidelberg University and a diploma from Liceo scientifico "F. Enriques."
