Abhinanda Bhattacharyya

Abhinanda Bhattacharyya is an accomplished interactive developer with extensive experience in journalism and data visualization. Currently serving as an Interactive Developer at POLITICO since April 2024, Abhinanda previously worked as a Data and Graphics Journalist for the Los Angeles Times, focusing on data-driven visual stories. Abhinanda’s background includes roles as a Senior Newsroom Developer at National Geographic and Graphics Reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle, where collaborative interactive storytelling was a key component. Additionally, Abhinanda has experience in the military as a Supply Specialist with the United States Army Reserve and has contributed to various technology and educational initiatives, including serving as a Consulting Scrum Master and a Mathematics Teaching Fellow. Abhinanda holds advanced degrees in Journalism and Education from the University of Southern California and the University of Pennsylvania, along with training in User Experience Design.
