Brad Dayspring is executive vice president of global communications and brand at POLITICO. He is a highly skilled communications strategist with a significant public and private sector experience in media relations, public policy, marketing and campaign strategy. Brad has appeared on national news programs on Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC and Bloomberg.

At POLITICO, Brad is the “keeper of the brand,” tasked with developing and executing a global communications and brand strategy. His team oversees efforts to promote and enhance POLITICO’s brand and drive its business success through its journalism, people and products. Prior to joining POLITICO, Brad served in a number of senior positions on Capitol Hill, including as strategist and communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the 2014 election cycle. Prior, he was Majority Leader Eric Cantor's deputy chief of staff and one of his most trusted aides. He also was communications director for former Financial Services Chair Jeb Hensarling, Rep. Chris Smith, and began his time on the Hill with former Rep. (and Gov.) John Kasich. Dayspring also spent time in the White House, serving as President George W. Bush's deputy director of press advance, and was director of media relations for the National Restaurant Association.

He graduated from Villanova University and was the captain of their then-NCAA Division 1 Independent ice hockey team.
