Irie Sentner

Irie Sentner serves as the Editor in Chief and President of Columbia Daily Spectator, overseeing editorial and business operations for the nonprofit organization, which generates $200K in annual revenue and publishes over 1,000 articles yearly. With extensive experience in journalism, Irie has held various roles including University News Editor, Deputy News Editor, and Staff Writer at the Spectator, as well as serving as Co-Director of the Spectator Summer Fellowship Program. Additional roles include ProPublica Emerging Reporter, Newsletter Editor for Writers on the Range, and Print Editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review. Experience also includes internships at NBCUniversal, New York Post, ACLU, and the United States Senate. Irie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Creative Writing at Columbia University, with an anticipated graduation in 2024.
