Tyler Thostenson

Tyler Thostenson has extensive experience in media planning and marketing. Tyler is currently working as a Senior Media Planner at Pollinate since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CMD as a Media Planner from June 2021 to July 2022. Tyler also served as a Paid Media Manager at Good & Gold Marketing from June 2020 to June 2021.

Tyler has a strong background in media coordination and associate roles. Tyler worked at Upshot as a Media Associate from August 2019 to June 2020, and also as a Media Coordinator from October 2017 to July 2019. Tyler began their career as a Media Intern at Upshot from June 2017 to August 2017.

Tyler has additional experience outside the media industry. Tyler worked as a Student Officer at University YMCA Minnesota from September 2016 to May 2017, where they were responsible for planning events and applying for grants. Prior to that, they were a Site Lead Mentor and Student Employee at University YMCA Minnesota from January 2016 to May 2017.

Tyler has also worked as a Marketing Intern at Minnesota Daily from September 2016 to December 2016, where they focused on producing digital content and promoting the publication. Tyler gained experience as a Parkers Lake Golf Center Lead Marketing Intern at Hennepin County from May 2016 to October 2016.

Finally, Tyler started their professional journey as a Crew Member at Five Guys Burgers and Fries from October 2013 to April 2014. Through their diverse work experience, Tyler Thostenson has developed a strong skill set in media planning, marketing, and event coordination.

Tyler Thostenson attended the University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, with a focus on Strategic Communications. In November 2016, Tyler also obtained the certification for Basic CPR and First Aid. Furthermore, in May 2020, they acquired two Google Ads certifications, one in Display and the other in Search, both issued by Google Ads.
