Nick Chapman

Nicholas is an Executive Director in the Transition Listed Infrastructure team. Prior to joining Pollination, Nicholas worked at Moody’s for more than four years where he provided market facing coverage for a range of high-profile Australasian infrastructure companies. He led the credit analysis for these corporates and the integration of ESG scoring for the Australian utility sector. He managed the ratings during a time of disruption and structural change, particularly in the airports sector (in response to Covid) and in the energy sector (as companies navigate the transition to net zero). Nicholas previously worked at UniSuper for a decade where he was a Senior Investment Analyst in the infrastructure team. He helped develop the research framework for UniSuper’s listed infrastructure portfolio, which grew from zero to become one of Australia’s largest and most concentrated portfolios. Nicholas was also a Portfolio Manager for UniSuper’s timberlands portfolio and he led a number of successful unlisted infrastructure transactions (investments and divestments). He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University.
