Valerie Pinkerton

Valerie is an interdisciplinary environmental professional with broad experience in philanthropy, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support climate change mitigation and coastal adaptation. She was previously an associate program officer at the Robertson Foundation, making strategic grants to address climate change, protect ocean health, implement invasive predator controls in New Zealand, and support tiger conservation. Prior to this role, Valerie provided research and analysis for policymakers on a range of environmental issues through roles with the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Environmental Law Institute. She received her MEM from Yale University and a BA from Columbia University.
