Ammar Akram

Ammar Akram has over a decade of experience in contracts and procurement, currently serving as the Manager for Contracts and Procurement at PGNiG SA since August 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing all procurement needs and safeguarding company interests in dealings with suppliers and contractors. Prior to PGNiG SA, Ammar held various positions at OMV from June 2012 to July 2015, advancing from Jr. Contracts Specialist to Contracts & Procurement Lead, focusing on acquisition processes and contract strategy formulation. Ammar began professional career as a Field Service Engineer at Weatherford from September 2011 to May 2012, specializing in tubular running services. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, and ongoing studies towards a Level-4 qualification from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
