Jayesh K. Gupta

Jayesh K. Gupta is a technology professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and research. Currently serving as Co-Founder at Silurian AI since May 2024, Jayesh previously held the position of Founding Member at Poly from June 2023 to June 2024. At Microsoft, from November 2020 to May 2023, Jayesh was a Senior Researcher, focusing on large-scale projects in data-driven simulations. A graduate student researcher at Stanford University from September 2015 to September 2020, Jayesh's work encompassed imitation learning, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, model-based control, and system identification, culminating in a PhD thesis on Modularity and Coordination for Planning and Reinforcement Learning. Jayesh also gained experience as a research intern at Microsoft in 2019. Jayesh completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, before obtaining a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University.
