Ajay Gupta

Ajay Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ajay is currently the Chief Technology Officer & Director at Polycab India Limited since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Silvan Innovation Labs, a subsidiary of Polycab India Limited, where they led the development of IoT and embedded technologies for various industries.

Before joining Silvan Innovation Labs, Ajay co-founded the company and served as the Chief Technology Officer since January 2016. Ajay was responsible for defining the technology pathway for the company, including hardware design, firmware development, IoT cloud, mobile apps, and cloud applications.

Earlier in their career, Ajay worked at Texas Instruments for 14 years, starting as a Senior Manager focused on embedded software. During their time there, they gained extensive experience in this field and filed over 30 disclosures.

Ajay's professional journey began at Bharat Electronics Limited, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Ajay had the opportunity to contribute to India's defense lab and worked on embedded software for missile radar tracking systems.

Ajay Gupta attended the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi from 1989 to 1993. Ajay obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science.
