Liam Kovatch

Liam Kovatch is a software engineer with experience in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Liam began their career in 2018 as the Vice President of Blockchain @ Columbia. In the same year, they co-founded Paradigm Labs, a DeFi native liquidity system, and was backed by Polychain, Dragonfly, and Chapter One. In 2020, they joined 0x Labs (Periscope Trading) as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the development of the core order management system and alpha model research. In 2021, they were appointed Head of Engineering at Polymarket, where they grew the engineering team from 4 to 12 and was responsible for the technical direction, hiring, and navigating a settlement with the CFTC.

Liam Kovatch attended Arizona State University from 2016-2017, where they studied Mathematics. Liam then transferred to Columbia University in 2017 and is currently studying Engineering.
