Luis Fernando Guarín

Luis Fernando Guarín is an experienced professional in investment and operations, currently serving as an Investment Associate at Polymath Ventures since April 2021. In this role, Luis collaborates with the CEO, Partners, and investment director to analyze over 300 startups in 2023, focusing on early-stage investment opportunities in LATAM. Luis also has a background in operations as an Analyst at Valderrama & Valco Constructores, where Lean methodologies were applied to improve construction processes, achieving significant reductions in unproductive time and costs. Additionally, Luis contributed as an Administrative Assistant at Universidad Industrial de Santander, designing a strategic project plan for the School of Petroleum Engineering. Luis holds a degree from the same university, completed between 2015 and 2020.
