Sean Valencourt

Sean Valencourt started their work experience in 2007 as a Developer at Ad Stream, where they focused on PHP and MySQL development, AJAX, and SEO work. Sean worked with Magento during this time. In 2010, they joined POLYWOOD as an IT employee, where they engaged in website and e-commerce development, application development, mobile web application development, software integration and setup, database design and management, server management, systems analysis, and general IT work. Sean designed and built a production scheduler web application that integrated with the company's ERP system. In 2012, Sean became an Information Systems Supervisor at POLYWOOD, where they designed and developed an MES web application that integrated with a Sage ERP to streamline the manufacturing process. Sean also worked across departments to streamline business processes. In 2013, they were promoted to the role of Director Of Information Systems, where they managed a small team and oversaw projects in various areas, including business process analysis, systems architecture, website and e-commerce development, application development, and software integration. In 2018, they were further promoted to EVP Information Systems at POLYWOOD, where they provided technology leadership and led the launch of the company's direct-to-consumer channel. Sean collaborated across multiple teams and departments to enable growth through technology solutions and business process development.

Sean Valencourt attended Purdue University from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Computer & Information Technology in the field of IT. Additionally, they pursued a minor in Management through the Purdue University Daniels School of Business during the same time period.
