Richard Wood

Richard Wood is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the Life Science and Industrial sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of Engineering at Pond & Company since January 2020, Richard manages a multi-discipline engineering team focused on medical device sterilization, air pollution control, pulp and paper, energy, chemicals, and food and beverage industries. Previously, Richard held various engineering management roles, including Director of Engineering and Director of Process Engineering, showcasing a strong background in overseeing complex projects. Prior to joining Pond & Company, Richard worked at AMEC and Wood as a Senior Process Engineer, where responsibilities included developing process documentation and coordinating large capital projects. Richard began a career in engineering at UPS as a Shift Supervisor and Loader, gaining valuable operational and management experience. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
