Andy Goetze

Andy Goetze has extensive experience in the photography and media industries. Andy began their career in 1992 as a photographer for Photographic Activities. In 1999, they founded and became CEO of PixFind Net Technologies, where they developed an image trading platform. Andy then joined Kappa Motion Media in 2005 as Head of Sales & Marketing. In 2008, they worked as VP of Business Development at PantherMedia and Director of German Operations/Director of Business Development at Fotolia LLC. In 2010, they worked as a M&A Consultant at Deutsche Telekom AG and CEO at Mergers & Acquisition. Andy also worked as Analyst, Business Development, and Blogger at StockPhotoTalk. Since 2011, they have been Director of Operations GSC at Pond5, where they are responsible for corporate sales, key account management, customer care, marketing, events, artist relations, and global PR, press, and media relations.

Andy Goetze's education history includes studying Human Medicine at the Free University Berlin from 1991 to 1992, at the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 1986 to 1991, at the University of Padua, Italy in 1986, and at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania in 1985. In 1985, they also studied Analytical Chemistry at the Carl von Ossietzky University, Oldenburg & Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt/Main. In 1984, they completed Civilian Service and became a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Finally, they completed their grammar school/high school (Gymnasium) from 1974 to 1983 and obtained a High school graduation/University-entrance diploma (Abitur).
