Daragh O'Farrell

Daragh O'Farrell has had a varied work experience, beginning with a supervisor role at Starbucks in 2011. Daragh then worked as a teacher for the Irish Centre for Talented Youth in 2011, followed by a role as a teacher of Physics at Blackwood Comprehensive School from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a teacher of Applied Mathematics while self-employed. In 2018, they were a Teaching Assistant at University College Dublin, helping with practical sessions for a module in Computer Architecture, as well as marking assignments and mid term exams. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at RapidRatings, and is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Pond5.

Daragh O'Farrell's education history includes a Bachelor of Science Honours, BSc (Hons) in Physics with Astronomy and Space Science from University College Dublin from 2007 to 2011, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Secondary in Physics from Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2012 to 2013, an M208 Pure Mathematics from The Open University from 2016 to 2017, and an MSc Computer Science (Conversion) from University College Dublin from 2017 to 2018. Daragh also holds a Leaving Certificate from Newpark Comprehensive School from 2000 to 2006.
