Carlos Corrales Gaitero

Carlos Corrales Gaitero is an accomplished educational professional currently serving as the Director de innovación educativa at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, a position held since August 2014. In addition to this leadership role, Carlos has worked as a university professor and has coordinated programs related to community engagement and a master's degree in Pedagogy of History and Social Sciences at the same institution. Prior to this, Carlos served as the Coordinator of the Social Sciences area and as a secondary school teacher at Colegio Becquerel from February 2014 to December 2017. Carlos holds a Doctorate in Education from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, obtained in 2023, a Master’s in Education from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2012), and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2011).
