Edmond Chow

Edmond Chow has a diversified work experience spanning over various companies and roles. Edmond'smost recent position was as a Lead Staff Engineer at Ponto starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Disney Streaming as a Lead Software Engineer from October 2020 to March 2022.

Edmond's experience in the tech industry includes roles such as a Senior Software Engineer at Spotify from July 2016 to October 2020, where they worked on developing the Spotify voice experience and algorithmically generating personalized playlists. Before that, they worked at Yahoo as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2014 to July 2016, leading backend development for Yahoo Finance interactive charts and overhauling the backend and front-end for Yahoo financial options.

Prior to their time at Yahoo, Edmond worked as a Senior Software Lead at PIMCO from April 2013 to April 2014, where they led the development of a new cash flow interface and implemented various efficient solutions using Microsoft WPF technology. Edmond also worked at Wells Fargo as a Senior Lead Developer and Business Development from October 2010 to April 2013, leading the modernization of their Auto Loan Origination System and architecting a business portal for dealership representatives.

Edmond's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Technology Lead Developer at the Federal Reserve Bank from July 2009 to October 2010, a Senior Lead Developer at Solution Elegance - American Airlines from February 2008 to July 2009, a Senior Software Technology Consultant at EMC Corporation from February 2006 to February 2008, and starting their career as a Software Engineer at IBM Corporation from January 2003 to February 2006.

Edmond Chow completed their education at three different institutions. From 1995 to 1999, they attended SGP High School and obtained their high school diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 1999 and 2002. Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, Edmond Chow attended the Texas McCombs School of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Finance.
