Akmal Makmor has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in strategy, operations, and customer success.
Currently, Akmal is working at Pop Meals as a Strategy & Operations Manager since November 2022.
Prior to that, Akmal worked at CloudKitchens, where they held the position of Growth Manager from September 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they were a Customer Success Manager, responsible for transforming the customer success approach from reactive to proactive. During their tenure, Akmal implemented a support dashboard to track metrics and improved average issue resolution time significantly.
Before joining CloudKitchens, Akmal worked at Pop Meals in different capacities. Akmal started as a Talent Acquisition Ops from December 2018 to February 2020. Akmal then transitioned to the role of Strategy & Operations Executive from March 2020 to June 2021. Finally, Akmal became an Assistant Manager, Strategy & Operations in July 2021, a position they held until March 2022.
Akmal also worked as a Researcher at the University of Malaya from February 2018 to January 2019.
Akmal Makmor attended the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from 2017 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English for International Communication.
