Rainer Sahlberg

Rainer Sahlberg is an experienced IT leader currently serving as IT Director and CTO at POP Pankki -ryhmä / POP Bank Group since March 2017. Prior to this role, Rainer held multiple positions at Suomen Vahinkovakuutus Oy, including Head of IT and IT Development Manager, from March 2012 to March 2017. Rainer's career also includes significant contributions as Development Manager and Senior Consultant at Comvise Oy, Technical Account Manager at CCC, and Development Manager at TeliaSonera. Earlier roles at Telecom Finland and Neste Oy encompassed project management and systems management positions. Rainer Sahlberg obtained an M.Sc. in Software Engineering, focusing on digital technology and electronics from Tampere University of Technology, where education spanned from 1982 to 2018.
