Maricar began their career as a Customer Service Representative at ePLDT Ventus in 2005, where they coached and mentored team members and compiled reports on team performance. Maricar then worked as an Office Admin and Document Controller at Omnix International LLC in Dubai, UAE, where they developed document control procedures and handled travel reservations. Maricar also worked as a Recruitment Associate at EDI-Staffbuilders International, Inc., where they managed the selection process and handled employment documents.

Maricar later joined Remote Staff as a CSRO (Client Staff Relations Officer), where they maintained positive client relationships, recorded interactions and transactions, and assisted clients with job orders and compensation. Maricar then worked at Talent2 as a Payroll Executive, managing payroll processes and proactively checking client relationships. Maricar also gained experience as a Proprietor of Klara Goodall - Direct Selling Business, where they managed the business from 2009 to 2015.

In 2013, Maricar joined StartupSpace.io as a Program Accelerator, conducting market research, managing social media posts, and updating the company's website.
