Kia Lyons

Kia Lyons has over 10 years of work experience. Kia began their career in 2005 as an Optometric Technician at Hooks Eyecare & Associates (Full-Time) and Dudley Eye Care (Part-Time). In 2009, they became a Program Coordinator II and Research Specialist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they were responsible for protocol adherence in the recruitment, screening, enrollment, testing, and retention of study participants. In 2012, they were appointed as the Fundraising Events and Program Coordinator at MS Face2Face, where they were successful in planning, implementing and facilitating key events to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis and related research. In 2015, Kia became a Business Owner at Popbar.

Kia Lyons attended The University of Alabama from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a BS in Business Management with a Minor in Biology. Prior to that, they attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts from 1994 to 2000, where they earned their High School Diploma with a major in Dance.
