David Gurman

David Gurman is a Junior Highway Engineer at Popli Design Group, engaged in various Highway and Bridge Replacement Projects since February 2022. Responsibilities include assisting with utility coordination and relocations, quantifying items in project estimates, drafting project plan sheets, and creating roadway designs using MicroStation and InRoads. Prior experience includes roles as a Transportation Construction Inspector for the NYS Department of Transportation, where David conducted existing sign surveys, daily inspection reports, and collaborated with contractors on various maintenance paving projects. Earlier, David worked as a Field Testing Technician for CME Associates, Inc., performing concrete and asphalt inspections. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
