Mukesh Desai

Mukesh Desai, PE, currently serves as the Manager of NYC CI Services at Popli Design Group since July 2018. Prior to this role, Mukesh worked as a Project Manager at HAKS from October 2010 to 2018, where significant projects included the NYCDOT St. George Ferry Terminal Ramps, with a construction cost of $192 million, and the Metro-North Railroad Communication & Signal Infrastructure Improvements (Phase I), costing $105 million and spanning 25 months. Mukesh’s earlier experience includes serving as Area Construction Supervisor and Engineer in Charge at the New York State Department of Transportation from 1988 to 2010, overseeing over 16 projects. Beginning a career as a Civil Engineer at the New York City Department of Transportation Bridge Design from 1981 to 1988, Mukesh holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The City University of New York and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from South Gujarat University.
