Balázs Szabó

Balázs Szabó is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Poppe + Potthoff GmbH, specializing in the design and development of hydrogen fueling systems, hydrogen storage and distribution systems, and Diesel Common Rail systems since June 2019. Previously, Balázs held positions as a Project Engineer in the Machining Department, focusing on robotizing projects and tooling cost reduction. Balázs served as Project Leader in the Stamping Department at Schaeffler from December 2014 to May 2019, leading a Hungarian team in the relocation of stamping machines and parts, and as a Process Engineer, improving production processes. Balázs also worked as a Production Support Engineer at Güntner-Tata Hűtőtechnika Kft., focusing on continuous improvement and product quality, and as a Maintenance Engineer at Siemens Transzformátor Kft., managing maintenance planning for transformer core cutting machines. Balázs earned a Mechanical Engineer BSc degree with a specialization in Maintenance Engineering from the University of Dunaújváros.
