Engr. Md. Mahabub Alam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) and software development. Engr. Md. Mahabub has served as the Head of ICT at Popular Pharmaceuticals Limited, where they were responsible for overseeing the ICT department of the Popular Group. Engr. Md. Mahabub also led the SAP implementation at Popular Pharma. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Technology at Bangladesh Microtechnology Ltd., and as a Project Manager at GETCO Digital Ltd., where they were involved in project management, software architecture design, and database design. Engr. Md. Mahabub has also worked as a Business Application Consultant and Project Manager at UIT, a USA based software company, and as a Senior Application Consultant and Project Manager at ICE Technologies Ltd., where they gained experience in project management, business analysis, and system implementation. In addition, they have held roles as a Software Engineer and Assistant Programmer, where they were involved in software development, testing, and database management. Engr. Md. Mahabub Alam holds multiple degrees in computer science and has acquired professional certifications in fields such as Oracle database administration and Cisco networking.

Engr. Md. Mahabub Alam has a comprehensive educational background and various certifications. Engr. Md. Mahabub pursued a M.Sc in Computer Science from American International University-Bangladesh from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management Information Systems at Daffodil International University-DIU from 2011 to 2013. Engr. Md. Mahabub obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (B.Sc) from the same institution from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their degrees, Engr. Md. Mahabub Alam has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. Engr. Md. Mahabub earned the "Engineer" certification from the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in December 2011. Furthermore, they obtained the "OCPDBA" certification from Oracle University, USA in January 2009.
