Shirley Soto

Shirley Soto has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Shirley began their career at Nationwide in 1993, where they held various roles such as Sales Support Administrator, Claims Representative, Portfolio Underwriter, and Senior Compliance Analyst. In 2002, Shirley joined Nationwide as a Sales and Marketing Representative. Shirley then moved to Popular in 2004, starting as the Direct Business Manager and later becoming the VP Direct Business. Currently, they hold the position of VP & Head of Personal Risk Management Practice at Popular.

Shirley Soto obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Insurance from St. John's University in 1993. Shirley also holds a Diploma in Risk and Insurance DRI from the same university, completed in 1992. In addition to their degrees, Shirley has received certifications including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter from The Institutes CPCU Society, Certified Professional Insurance Women from the International Association of Insurance Professionals, and Certified Insurance Counselor from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
