Cristina Lussiana's work experience includes positions at various organizations. Cristina started at Universita' degli Studi di Torino in 2008 as a PhD student in Molecular Medicine. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Technical Advisor at UMMI. In 2012, they became the Malaria Private Sector Program Manager at The MENTOR Initiative. Cristina'spositions at Population Services International (PSI) include Health Program Manager Social Marketing from 2013 to 2014, Quality Assurance Advisor in Case Management for Malaria and Child Survival from 2014 to 2015, Malaria and Child Survival Monitoring Advisor from 2015 to 2018, Sr Program Manager for Global Business Systems from 2018 to 2021, Deputy Director of Digital Health from 2021 to 2023, and currently, as Head of Digital Health.
Cristina Lussiana obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotecnologies from Università degli Studi di Torino in 2007. In 2010, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, which was completed in 2013. In 2013, they also obtained a Certificate in Data management for Clinical Research from Vanderbilt University. In 2015, Cristina earned multiple certificates including Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX from Delft University of Technology, Death: Shaping the Future of Global Health from University of Toronto, and a Certificate in Data Science from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2018, they received a Certificate in Defeating Malaria from the Genes to the Globe from Harvard University.
