Marusya Lazo

As Vice President of Finance, Marusya leads financial operations, financial reporting and the field finance support functions. Prior to this role, Marusya led the development of the field finance support function at PSI, which provides guidance, support and tools to the finance teams of PSI’s overseas operations, as well as support to both country finance and Washington teams during accounting system and reporting upgrades and enhancements. Previously, Marusya lead PSI’s Global Internal Audit team for four years, and was responsible for providing internal audit services across PSI’s global operations, building the capacity of PSI’s local internal auditors based in country, as well as supporting PSI’s risk management process and integrity initiative.

Before joining PSI, Marusya worked at Deloitte & Touche and Andersen in London and New York, delivering internal audit and risk management services to multi-national companies.

Marusya is a UK Chartered Accountant, and a graduate of the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
