Sean Kell

Sean Kell is the current Director at Porch. Sean has also held positions at Blue Nile, A Place for Mom, and Expedia, Inc.

Kell began their career at Expedia, Inc., where they served as the SVP and General Manager of both Expedia.com and hotels.com. During their time with the company, they were responsible for growing revenue and expanding the business across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

In 2011, Kell left Expedia to become the CEO of A Place for Mom, a senior living referral service. Sean successfully grew the company 400% and led four successful acquisitions. In 2018, they sold the business to General Atlantic and Silver Lake Partners, generating a 7x return for shareholders.

Sean Kell has an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business, as well as a BSEE in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California.
