Cici Huang is an experienced professional with a background in tourism management and community development. Currently serving as a Welcoming Communities Advisor at Porirua City Council, Cici leads strategic initiatives to support newcomers in integrating into the community. Concurrently, Cici works as a Tourism Marketing Advisor for the Department of Conservation, focusing on enhancing public engagement with New Zealand's natural and cultural heritage. Cici's previous roles include positions at Tourism New Zealand, where responsibilities included managing compliance programs and coordinating marketing initiatives targeted at the Chinese market, and at Lincoln University, where Cici oversaw international student services and supported marketing efforts. Cici holds a degree in Tourism Management with a focus on Community and Social Development from Lincoln University.
