Helen Oram is a seasoned professional in climate and environmental planning, currently serving as the Manager of Climate and Environmental Planning at Porirua City Council since May 2023. Prior to this role, Helen Oram had a long tenure at Hutt City Council from May 2005 to May 2023, holding various leadership positions including Director of Environment & Sustainability, General Manager of City Transformation, and Divisional Manager of Environmental Consents. Earlier experience includes serving as Team Leader at Hutt City Council and Senior Planner at Porirua City Council. Helen Oram holds a Bachelor of Planning in Urban Planning from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Cartography from Victoria University of Wellington.
