Thomas Fuhrmann

Thomas Fuhrmann is an experienced professional in the field of construction and operations management, currently serving as Technischer Betriebsleiter (Plant and Operations Manager) at PORR QATAR CONSTRUCTION since June 2014. Fuhrmann has worked on significant projects, including micro tunneling operations and various tunnel construction projects utilizing EPB TBM technology. Notable roles include overseeing the Al Wakra Wukair Drainage Tunnel and the Musaimeer Pumping Station and Outfall Tunnel. Prior to joining PORR, Fuhrmann spent 27 years with HOCHTIEF as Betriebsleiter Elektrotechnik Tunnelbau. Fuhrmann holds a Bachelor professional of Electrical Engineering and Operations from Europäische Management Akademie in Essen, Germany.
