Kristina Mathisen is an experienced art teacher currently serving at King Street Elementary School within the Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kristina taught art at Kensico School, Valhalla Middle School, and Valhalla High School from August 2017 to June 2021. Kristina began a career at CVS Pharmacy as a shift supervisor from July 2012 to 2019. Academically, Kristina holds a Master’s Degree in Literacy for grades 5-12 from St. Thomas Aquinas College, earned from 2018 to 2020, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Teacher Education from the same institution, completed in 2017.
