Jonathan Allen

Jonathan Allen has a diverse work experience in various government organizations. Jonathan started their career at the City of Lawrence, working as a Management Intern and later as a Management Assistant in the City Manager's Office. Jonathan then joined the City of Lawrence's Department of Utilities as a Management Analyst. After that, they moved to the City of Tamarac, where they worked as an Assistant to the City Manager. Following this, they joined the City of Lauderdale Lakes, initially serving as an Assistant City Manager and later as the Director of Public Works, Assistant City Manager/Parks and Recreation Director, and Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director. Finally, they joined the Broward County Government as the Director of the Business Operations Division in the Water and Wastewater Services.

Jonathan Allen received their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1992. Jonathan then went on to pursue a Masters in Public Administration at The University of Kansas, which they completed in 1994.
