Khalil Jackson is a Natural Resources Specialist for the Broward County Government, focusing on compliance determination for asbestos regulations in demolition and renovation projects. Previously an Intern for Asbestos Monitoring at the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, Khalil ensured adherence to regulatory requirements for asbestos prior to infrastructure developments. In addition to environmental roles, Khalil served as Secretary for the American Meteorological Society Student Chapter, facilitating communications and career opportunities in atmospheric sciences. Khalil also held supervisory and assistant positions with the University of Miami Housing and Residential Life, ensuring safety and operational efficiency in residential environments, and contributed to atmospheric research at The Gaston Lab. Khalil holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Atmospheric Science with minors in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Miami and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
