Lieke de Jong is an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager at the Port of Amsterdam, specializing in civil engineering projects including quay construction and environmental provisions since July 2018. Prior to this role, Lieke was an Environmental Specialist at LANXESS from January 2016 to July 2018, focusing on safety in a high-risk production environment. Experience also includes serving as an Advisor in soil management at BK ingenieurs from September 2009 to December 2015, leading soil investigation and remediation projects, and overseeing team performance and innovation strategies. Additionally, Lieke completed an internship at TNO Geological Survey of the Netherlands, researching shale gas potential, and served as a Student Assistant at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, supporting research initiatives. Lieke holds a Master of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
