Marit Hooijboer is an experienced project manager specializing in environment and spatial planning at the Port of Amsterdam since June 2009, focusing on Natura 2000, air quality, noise, odour, and safety. Previous roles include policymaker and researcher on sustainable port development, environmental advisor at Municipality of Amsterdam, and various positions within several municipal departments. Marit holds a Master of Science in Human Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Amsterdam and has continued education in ecology. Additionally, Marit serves as secretary for the Jonge Ambtenaren Netwerk in Amsterdam and is currently pursuing further studies at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences.
