Roland Salomons

Roland Salomons is a VTS Operator at the Port of Amsterdam, having started in September 2021. Prior to this role, Roland gained extensive maritime experience at WAGENBORG SHIPPING B.V., advancing from 3rd Officer to 2nd Officer and eventually Chief Officer from March 2014 to August 2021. Roland holds a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Operations from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz, obtained between 2008 and 2013, and completed HAVO in Economie en maatschappij at Ichthus College Kampen from August 2002 to June 2008.
