Roos van Ekdom

Roos van Ekdom serves as a bedrijfsjurist at the Port of Amsterdam since June 2017, following a brief tenure in the same role at Brocacef in early 2017. Prior to these positions, Roos worked as an advocaat at Blauw Tekstra Uding Business Law Attorneys from March 2009 to January 2017, specializing in corporate law, contract law, securities law, and insolvency law, while also fulfilling roles as a curator and administrator. Roos has held leadership positions, including voorzitter and bestuurslid at Vereniging Jonge Balie Amsterdam from 2010 to 2012, and gained experience as a juridisch medewerker in banking and finance litigation at NautaDutilh in 2007. Educational qualifications include a degree in mediation from Dialogue and training in advocacy from the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten. Roos has also contributed as a volunteer at the Kinder- en jongerenrechtswinkel Amsterdam and served as a guide for legal studies and professions for Stichting Dux in Iura.
